Mission: The St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Association promotes a player-centric environment that develops Irish sports and preserves Irish cultural heritage in the greater St. Louis area.  Focused on athletic excellence, inclusion and interest in Irish culture, we prepare athletes for success in the Irish sports of Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic football.

Values:  To fulfill our mission and achieve our vision, the St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Association values:

1. We foster a sense of community for all stakeholders to the organization.  We welcome and have a place for anyone wishing to be involved in our organization.
2. We respect all members of our organization, our external stakeholders, other clubs, and administrative bodies.
3. As an amateur sports organization, we value the volunteer spirit required to run our organization.

Strategic Priorities:

1. Strengthen our sporting culture.
   1. Develop a professionally run and administrated games development program.
   2. Ensure the games development program is the path for player recruitment (child, youth, adult).
   3. Develop and maintain competitive travel teams in Camogie, hurling and football.
   4. Use competitive travel teams as the foundation to develop a vibrant city league in the Greater St. Louis area.
   5. Establish and maintain a high standard for coaching and refereeing within the St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Association.

 

2. Develop a long-term plan to acquire a permanent club location owned and operated by the St. Louis Gaelic Athletic Association.
   1. Create a location for athletes, social members, family members and external stakeholders to gather and enjoy Irish sport and culture.

 

3. Cultivate strategic alliances.
   1. Establish strategic alliances that clearly support the mission, vision and first two strategic priorities of the association.
